This Quonset hut was originally built in 1975 and was meticulously restored in recent years by local artist and architect Darwin McCreedy, AIA.
Located in the industrial zone of Ojai, you experience privacy while still conveniently located downtown. Just-steps from the bike path and Ojai Avenue.
Views of the Topa Topa Mountains are all a around, both indoor and outdoor. The private patio features outdoor seating in a couch setting or patio dining table. The Topa Topa views will entice you to spend quality time here for sure! Mornings and evenings are infused with pixie blossom sweetness. A new CharBroil propane barbecue offers guests all they need to enjoy a glorious outdoor meal experience.
Around the rear, is a second shaded patio, off the living room. Here you will find an outdoor shower that makes Ojai summer days more fun!
The perimeter gardens feature a sampling of local trees suited to fit a private personal garden. If you can…be sure to save some free moments to decompress with natures creatures these beauties attract.
This parcel hosts mature large trees…like pepper, oaks, ficus, fig and magnolia. As well as recent younger additions of persimmon, olive, apricot, pineapple guava and plum trees. Watch the birds flutter and bathe among the lavender and mulberry bushes. These gardens come alive at night with evening lighting.
